Lasagna, the most popular and loved food in the whole wide world. It is a traditional Italian dish Lasagna is a white pasta sheet covered with a layer of minced meat, veggies, cheese, white sauce, seasonings to make it more perfect and delicious.

The lasagna recipe is one of the most valued foods in the world. It is mostly served dish in top restaurants as I didn’t find any local eateries serving this dish. But you can make homemade lasagna in your kitchen as it doesn’t require tons of ingredients. Lasagne recipe is simple and quick to make your weekend delightful. Lasagna is one healthy recipe filled with full of nutrients.
We can make different versions of lasagna so it is the perfect dish for gatherings with family and friends. Everyone will drool over this delicious lasagna as the melted cheese on top makes the dish appetizing.
Here’s the recipe for homemade Chicken lasagna layered with rich white sauce and filled with meaty goodness and added mozzarella cheese. Usually, 2-3 layers are enough to make lasagna but you can add any layer as per your preference. Ingredients for Chicken Lasagna
For Chicken
- Chicken mince
- 2 finely chopped onion
- 2 grated tomatoes
- 1/2 cup tomato ketchup
- 1 finely chopped capsicum
- 2 chopped garlic
- Cheese
- Mixed herbs
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper
- Chili flakes
- Oil
- Lasagna sheets
For white sauce
- Butter
- 1/2 bowl Plain flour
- a cup of milk
- mixed herbs
How to make Chicken Lasagna
Let’s make the chicken ready
- Heat up some oil in the pan in medium flame
- Add chopped onion and stir it until it gets golden brown and then add chopped garlic
- After that add chicken mince, mix it properly, and close the lid. Let it cook for 8-10 minutes in medium flame
- Now add grated tomatoes, tomato ketchup and give it a stir
- Add half tablespoon of chili flakes, mixed herbs, black pepper and salt to taste
- After that add chopped capsicum and mix it thoroughly
- Add a cup of water and let it cook for approximately 10 minutes
Let’s prepare white sauce
- First of all, take a vessel and add some butter into it. Make sure the gas is in medium flame
- After that ass half cup of plain flour and mix it well
- Then add a cup of milk and stir it until it turns into a thick paste
- At last, add some mix herbs and a pinch of salt
Let’s prepare lasagne sheets
- Firstly boil some water in a vessel and then put lasagne sheets
- Boil it for 3-4 minutes and separate the water using a strainer. Then let it cool for 5-10 minutes
Let’s prepare for assembling
- Take a container and grease it with oil so that it won’t get sticky at last
- Put a layer of white sauce and spread it properly
- After that add 2-3 boiled lasagne sheets and spread chicken mince over it
- Now add some grated cheese or finely chopped cheese over the chicken
- Add another layer of white sauce and then close it with 2-3 lasagne sheets
- Again add one layer of white sauce and spread leftover chicken mince over it
- Then add more cheese to cover the chicken mince and sprinkle some mixed herbs
For Baking Process
- Preheat the oven at 180 degrees and then bake for about 25-30 minutes at 200 degrees
- Cut the lasagna into pieces and serve hot
