Ingredients for mutton curry

  • 1 kg fresh mutton meat
  • 5 tablespoon oil
  • 1 finely chopped onion
  • 4-5 finely chopped tomatoes 
  •  4-5 red or green chilies
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Garam Masala (3 cloves, 3 cinnamon, 3 cardamoms, 4 bay leaves)
  • 1 tablespoon cumin seed
  • 1 tablespoon cumin powder
  • Ginger-garlic paste
  • Meat Masala
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • Finely chopped coriander

How to make mutton curry

1: Firstly, heat up 5 tbsp of oil in a pressure cooker, add some cumin seed along with Garam Masala (3 cloves, 3 cinnamon, 3 cardamoms, 4 bay leaves) and let it fry for 1 minute

2: Add mutton meat in it and let it cook for 5-10 minutes and add 1 tbsp of turmeric powder and salt, then stir it properly

3: Add chopped onion and chili then let it cook for 3-4 minutes

4: After this, add all the spices i.e. 1 tbsp of cumin powder, ginger-garlic paste, meat masala, chili powder and then mix it properly

5: Add chopped tomatoes, close the lid and then let it cook for 5 minutes in medium flame

6: Then add some water, mix it properly and let it cook for 2-3 minutes

7: Close the lid and then let it cook for 10 whistles in medium flame

8: At last garnish with chopped coriander on top

9: And it’s ready to serve our fresh homemade delicious mutton curry 🙂
