Chicken Pakora is delicious non-vegetarian snacks made up of boneless chicken or chicken mince or chicken breast meat mixed with chickpea flour. These amazing chicken fritters are famous during parties, gatherings as a side dishes.

Especially during rainy season these chicken pakora recipes add an absolute delight filled with delectable spices and mouth watering flavors. Also for the evening time chicken pakora/pakoda will be the best snacks and you can enjoy it with any kind of chutni or tomato sauce.

There are various types of pakora available similar to chicken pakora. You can pick any vegetables (for instance cauliflower, cabbage, brinjal, chilies, etc) and then stuffed it with chickpea flour, spices, and at last deep-fried in oil.

Chicken pakora recipe is very easy to make and prepared using boneless chicken mince stuffed with varieties of spices and deep-fried in oil. It is quick healthy chicken lunch recipes that anyone can try at their kitchen.

Chicken pakora can be made in different style, here I will be using boneless chicken mince stuffed with chopped onions, coriander, and varieties with spices.

Ingredients for Chicken Pakora

  • 250 g boneless chicken (mince)
  • Two finely sliced onion
  • 1 tablespoon coriander powder
  • 1 tablespoon cumin powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon turmeric powder
  • Chili powder (as per your preference)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1/2 liter oil
  • Ginger- garlic powder
  • Chickpea flour/ Besan (half cup)
  • 1/2 tbsp of baking soda

How to make Chicken Pakora

1: Firstly heat up half liter of oil in a wider pan. You can use any kind of oil vegetable, sunflower, soybean as per your preference.

2: Take a bigger bowl,  add chicken mince along with chopped onions and all the spices i.e. 1 tbsp of coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, chili powder, salt to taste and then mix it properly

3: Now let’s make besan mixture, for this take a bigger bowl and add 1 cup of besan/chickpea flour, 1/2 tbsp of baking soda, turmeric powder and 1/3 glass of water to make it thicker paste

4: After that add chicken mixture into the besan mixture and mix it properly

5: Now the final step is to make small chicken balls

6. Add the chicken balls in the oil and then let it cook until it gets golden brown color

7: Add some tomato sauce or chili sauce to add more flavors

8: And it’s ready to serve 🙂
